The fabric
One fabric. Every piece.
Every Scrubswise garment is cut from the same stretch blend, specified by the manufacturer at 72% polyester, 25% rayon and 3% spandex, with a weight of approximately 145-150 GSM. Here is what that actually means for you.
- 72%
- Polyester
The backbone of the fabric. It gives the scrubs their shape, durability and easy washability, and keeps the colour looking deep wash after wash.
- 25%
- Rayon
The softness. Rayon gives the fabric its smooth, comfortable hand feel and the gentle drape you notice the moment you put the top on.
- 3%
- Spandex
The movement. A small percentage of spandex is all it takes for the fabric to flex with you and settle back into shape.

01
Four-way stretch
The 3% spandex content lets the fabric give in every direction: reach across a bed, lift, crouch, and it moves with you, then recovers.
02
Lightweight, 145-150 GSM
At roughly 145-150 grams per square metre, this is a genuinely light fabric. Easy to layer over a t-shirt, comfortable under theatre lights.
03
Soft hand feel
Rayon on the inside, polyester on the outside: the fabric is specified for a soft, smooth feel against the skin from the first wear.
04
A shape that holds
Polyester-dominant blends are the standard for medical uniforms for a reason: the garment keeps its cut and its deep colour through a full academic year of laundry.
05
Verified composition
Every Scrubswise piece is cut from the same specification: 72% polyester, 25% rayon, 3% spandex. What is on this page is what is in the garment.
06
Two shades, one chart
Our navy and dusty rose come from the manufacturer's 17-colour chart, so the shades are consistent from one production run to the next.
Caring for your scrubs
Follow the care label sewn into each garment. Polyester-rich blends are machine washable at everyday temperatures, and we recommend washing with similar colours to keep the deep navy and dusty rose at their best.
